A customer requested a wall rack to hold eight flutes. Designed the shape, layout, and dimensions from scratch. It took lost of orbital sanding to achieve the rounded, three-dimensional shapes of the hooks.

Fabrication Notes:

Black walnut wood, brass pipe. A drill press featured heavily in fabrication, for creating an even curve to the hooks, starting with a forsner bit. Sanding drums on the drill press then helped with blending the circular holes into a bandsaw cut.
